The Philippines, known for its extraordinary biodiversity, holds a unique and ecologically vital position in the world of conservation. Despite the exceptional richness of its biodiversity, the gravity of the threats it faces has been notable for the lack of attention given to endangered animals in the Philippines. With that, this study aims to create an innovative learning material to inform children through a 360 interactive video about the lives of critically endangered species in the Philippines. To validate the study, mixed method technique was used to collect data and information. The researchers interviewed subject matter experts, technical experts, and 8 to 10- year-old target audiences. It revealed that innovative learning material like a 360 interactive video is an effective way to engage and help inform children in the Philippines about critically endangered species. This research offers valuable insights into the effectiveness of 360 interactive video promoting the advocacy supporting the SDG’s Quality Education, Life on Land, and Life on Water for the children of Manila City, contributing to broader societal goals of understanding.

In today’s society, technology has become an integral part of daily life. At home, families now have access to the Internet and electronic devices. Although digitalization offers numerous advantages, it also poses problems for young children who can be constantly exposed to online content, which can negatively affect their holistic development. Parents and guardians who are accustomed to traditional parenting can also experience challenges in handling technology at home. The study aims to educate and guide parents and guardians on how to manage their children’s digital activities effectively. Through a hybrid web series and a social media campaign, they can be encouraged to foster a conducive digital environment to better support their children’s early development. Children can also help them build a positive relationship with their children at home. Formative and summative evaluation were conducted to gather information on academic professionals and industry experts. Also included is a test screening to understand the impact of the project on the target audience. With a grand mean of 4.47, the study was able to increase the learning outcomes of the parents and guardians. This can contribute to the existing body of knowledge on digital parenting, child development, and digital media.

Generative AI tools are increasingly transforming multimedia arts courses by streamlining creative processes and expanding the possibilities for artistic expression. The integration of these tools into creative platforms has enabled students to enhance their productivity and experiment with innovative techniques, fostering an environment where digital artistry can thrive. Despite these benefits, the use of AI raises significant concerns regarding originality, artistic authenticity, and the potential erosion of traditional skills. Analysis using the technology acceptance model (TAM) reveals that students broadly accept these tools due to their perceived utility and ease of use, yet they remain cautious about their long-term impact on creative development. A word cloud analysis of student feedback illustrates a diverse array of sentiments, combining enthusiasm for the technological advancements with caution and ethical deliberation about the role of AI in art. Sentiment analysis further indicates an overall optimistic view toward the integration of generative AI, while also uncovering persistent concerns about ethical issues, such as copyright and the fair attribution of creative work. These findings highlight the critical need for educational strategies that balance the benefits of AI-driven efficiency and innovation with the preservation of traditional artistic practices. Future research should explore methods to integrate AI into multimedia arts curricula in a way that augments human creativity and safeguards the unique qualities of handcrafted art, ensuring that technological progress enhances rather than compromises artistic integrity.

Manila City is one of the most popular cities in the Philippines, having a vast tourist destination, including the eight (8) tourism hubs of Manila City, which details a comprehensive list of major attractions and activities. However, preliminary data gathering results, including interviews from the Department of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Manila (DTCAM) and pre-survey assessment, reveal that there is an observed number of youth who have lack of awareness about the maj or attractions and activities available in the eight (8) tourism hubs of Manila. With this, this study aims to develop and implement a hybrid 3D animated film and digital campaign that promotes the maj or attractions and activities available in eight (8) tourism hubs of Manila City in partnership with the DTCAM. The study employs a mixed-method of study, utilizing formative and summative evaluation, including interviews and survey subject matter expert, survey with target audience, and digital campaign analysis. The proj ect revealed positive insights from the subject matter experts, which notably affirms that the overall 3D integration, film, social media, and graphic design components itself also contributed to positive results, which encompasses satisfactory performance. In terms of target audience, the acceptance surveys, which denote that the target audience was able to gain better awareness of the maj or attractions and activities available in the eight (8) tourism hubs of Manila City. And in terms of digital campaign analysis, the key performance indicator in social media insights showed that the digital campaign performance garnered a positive growth rate in terms of number of reach, engagement, and number of followers, denoting that the digital campaign has maximized its platform in creating awareness and expanding audience base.

To ensure students achieve timely and satisfactory graduation, it's essential to assess their future performance based on ongoing academic records and implement instructional interventions. Within the educational context, students fall into two categories: regular and irregular, each governed by distinct academic regulations. Regular students follow a predetermined curriculum, which provides a clear path to graduation and enhanced access to required courses, facilitating efficient progress toward degree completion. On the other hand, irregular students encounter challenges such as disruptions and delays, necessitating additional time and support to fulfill degree requirements. Guiding both regular and irregular students and improving their study plans require appropriate guidance and academic intervention. To address the existing research gap, this study presents a Criteria-based Recommender Platform for Achieving Optimal Time-to-Graduation Utilizing a Backward Chaining Algorithm. This platform automatically generates a personalized study plan by considering predefined criteria and parameters, enabling students to evaluate the timeline for completing their degree program. By leveraging the backward chaining algorithm, the platform's predictive model captures intricate relationships and dependencies within the data, providing valuable insights and predictions. This adaptive approach continuously refines predictions based on new data, enhancing accuracy and utility in guiding decision-making processes related to study plan generation.

Children in street situations are prone to physical and emotional abuse, exploitation, medical and financial problems. This research aims to examine the root causes of children in street situations' deprivations, to contribute to the welfare of children in street situations, and to propose strategies for addressing the matter through a multimedia project, specifically by a hybrid 2D & 3D educational animated series and website. It will also explore the impact of educational animated series and websites that will provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by children in street situations. It serves to raise awareness, promote understanding, and potentially generate solutions to improve the lives of children in street situations. This multimedia project can be an educational tool to various NGOs and organizations that cater to children in street situations. This was found to be effective by providing an educational series and website with information on how to access basic needs and to provide a safe and supportive environment for children in street situations. The study utilizes a mixed qualitative and quantitative research design, it provides valuable insights into the challenges through interviews, pre-assessment, post assessment, and survey questions. The study has important implications for policymakers, educators, government, and practitioners working with children in street situations and highlights the importance of providing a safe and supportive environment for children in street situations to thrive.

The assessment of students' academic performance based on ongoing records plays a vital role in enabling timely interventions for successful graduation. Variances in degree program completion times emphasize the need to tailor subjects and courses to individual student requirements. However, limited research exists on student degree completion, presenting challenges related to diverse student backgrounds, information gaps in courses, and accommodating evolving progress in predictions. Educational institutions are adapting flexible curricula, necessitating a diverse range of courses and informed decision-making for academic planning. Structured course sequences in universities ensure a gradual buildup of knowledge and skills, aiding students in tackling more complex subjects progressively. A decision-based recommendation system for predicting graduation time was developed and evaluated using the ISO/IEC 25010 Software Quality Model. This model included parameters like functionality, performance, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and portability. Each parameter was assessed to ensure the system's functionality, performance optimization, cross-platform compatibility, user-friendliness, reliability, security, ease of maintenance, and adaptability to different environments. Through this evaluation, the system's quality and efficacy were comprehensively validated, confirming its ability to achieve intended objectives and meet user requirements.

The Philippines has unique and rich culture; thus, it is also part of its identity. A preliminary test the researchers conducted revealed that the consumers do not consider street food as part of the culture. The Hybrid 2D Animation Documentary tackles the role of street food and street food vendors in the cultural aspect. The evaluation process used in the study is a comparative analysis of the set of pre-assessment and post-assessment evaluations from 30 respondents. The result showed that there had been an increase in value in recognition and acknowledgment of street food after consuming the material. The researchers recommended that street food vendors start acknowledging their cultural role, that multimedia art students create more content featuring the cultural role of street foods, that the teachers introduce the representation of street foods, and that future researchers explore the sanitation issues of street foods.

This capstone project aimed to explore the impact of behavioral and social stress on the mental well-being of early adolescents in the Philippines. The study highlighted the high prevalence of behavioral and emotional problems among Filipino children and emphasized the need for increased access to mental health services. The project focused on assessing the effectiveness of school guidance and counseling services as a potential solution. It effectively evaluated interactivities such as the interactive video and the interactive workbook in identifying and addressing developmental and behavioral concerns. The proponents aimed to provide insights into the factors contributing to behavioral stress and social anxiety among adolescents and suggested interventions to improve their mental well-being. This study was relevant to policymakers, educators, and mental health professionals involved in the well-being of children and adolescents in the Philippines.

In the context of higher education, ensuring timely and successful graduation for students is a pivotal objective, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of their academic performance and tailored interventions. Evaluating ongoing academic records is crucial for effective pedagogical interventions, but limited research on student performance in completing degrees has introduced challenges. To address these, academic institutions are adopting flexible curricula designs, prompting the need for diverse course offerings. Amidst this, two student categories emerge: regular and irregular, each presenting unique challenges. A Rule-Based Suggestion Platform for Academic Program Completion was conceptualized, designed, developed, and rigorously evaluated through the use of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This innovative platform, which harnesses the power of rule-based decision-making, was created to address the intricate challenges surrounding students' timely and successful program completion within the academic landscape. The platform's underlying architecture and functionality were crafted to provide students with personalized and optimized recommendations, guiding them towards informed decisions in shaping their educational journey. The development process involved the integration of advanced rule-building mechanisms, enabling the system to analyze individual student profiles, academic progress, and program requirements. This data-driven approach empowers the platform to generate customized study plans that not only consider the students' academic ambitions but also adhere to predefined constraints and parameters. By evaluating the platform's performance through the Technology Acceptance Model, this study assesses the users' perception and acceptance of this novel tool, shedding light on its effectiveness and potential impact on enhancing the academic planning process.
