Short Biography

Rocky is a seasoned media writer with over a decade of experience across lifestyle and entertainment. Currently media and screenplay writer for Cannes award-winning director Brillante Mendoza at Centerstage Productions. Former Media Writer for Concertus Manila, writing media releases for international tours including STOMP, Potted Potter, and Chicago, and for FOX Life’s To a T. He has interviewed global theater figures including Alain Boublil, Claude-Michel Schönberg, Stephen Schwartz, and Rachelle Ann Go, with work published in BroadwayWorld, Spotted, and ABS-CBN News. In academe, he is on his 8th year as a Languages instructor at Far Eastern University Alabang, with 14 years teaching experience including San Beda Alabang (Communication and Media Studies) and University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (Mass Communication - Journalism and Broadcasting). He also has radio experience with 93.9 iFM and 103.9 Radio One FM Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
