Personal Information

Short Biography

Ms. Edenille Ann Santos is a full-time instructor at the Far Eastern University Institute of Technology, where she introduces Engineering and IT students to the amazing world of Mandarin and language learning. She took her Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from the University of the Philippines–Diliman, specializing in the Japanese language. She is currently pursuing her master’s in Asian Studies at the UP Asian Center, specializing in Northeast Asia (Japan studies). Her passions weave together language, culture, and society. She is especially interested in exploring aging and elderly care in Asia, the impact of social welfare policies, and how linguistic anthropology and foreign language teaching open windows to understanding human connections across generations and borders. In her free time, she finds joy in the simple stuff—playing with her dogs, immersing herself in anime, taking spontaneous drives around the city, and capturing stories through her camera lens.
