The OpenAI launch could help us students to further learn more how to use ai responsibly.

So far I'm having fun since there are no classes and the day is purely for us to enjoy and roam around.

The Paraverse booth is very engaging and fun to interact with. It is very educational and it explains how to use the different functions of the Paraverse world.

One of my biggest takeaways from the OpenAI Campus Launch was Mr. Justine Jude Pura's message about using AI with intention. As AI becomes more integrated into our daily lives, it's easy to fall into the habit of asking it for instant answers. While that may save time, it can also reduce the opportunities for us to think critically, solve problems, and truly understand what we're learning.

What resonated with me most was the idea that AI should support the learning process—not replace it. Instead of using it as a shortcut, we can use it to strengthen our thinking through the 4R Framework: Recall what we already know, Relearn the concepts we're still struggling with, Rehearse by practicing with similar problems, and Reflect on what we've actually learned. It's a simple but effective reminder that learning isn't about getting answers quickly—it's about building understanding that lasts.

Another insight I found valuable was the importance of writing better prompts. Rather than asking AI to complete our work, we can ask it to guide our thinking: challenge our assumptions, create practice exercises, explain where our reasoning falls short, or ask questions that help us arrive at the answer ourselves. That shift turns AI from a tool that does the thinking into one that helps us become better thinkers.

A line from the talk that stayed with me was: "Good prompts do not remove struggle. They make the struggle more productive." That perfectly captures how I want to approach AI moving forward—not as a replacement for learning, but as a coach that helps me learn more effectively.

As AI continues to evolve, I think one of the most valuable skills we can develop isn't just knowing how to use it, but knowing when to let AI help and when to challenge ourselves to think first.
