ALEKS Bootcamp is a day-long training program designed for MPS faculty members to enhance their proficiency in implementing and utilizing ALEKS in Engineering Mathematics classrooms. This yearly activity is conducted by McGraw Hill, in collaboration with the Mathematics and Physical Sciences (MPS) Department, to ensure continuous faculty development and effective technology integration in teaching.
The event is composed of various segments, including expert-led talks, hands-on training sessions, and peer-sharing discussions that provide valuable insights on best practices and new features of the ALEKS platform. To encourage camaraderie and active participation, the program also incorporates interactive activities, team-building games, and friendly competitions, making the learning experience both engaging and enjoyable.
