Short Biography

My name is Lot. I am an art educator and media artist with over twenty years of experience in visual communication, digital design, and time-based media. Following the completion of my Master of Fine Arts from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, complemented by a foundation in experimental filmmaking and grounded in design theory, visual literacy, and studio practice, my work integrates traditional artistic principles with contemporary digital tools. My teaching brings a student-centered, process-oriented pedagogy, using technology to support creative and intellectual exploration. I emphasize ethical visual practice, cultural grounding, and meaningful community engagement. I’m an Assistant Professor at FEU Alabang right now, helping and shaping the next wave of artists and designers.
