Short Biography
Mr. Barcela is an accomplished educator and financial professional currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at Our Lady of Fatima University. He holds a Master in Business Administration from Far Eastern University (FEU) Makati and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from FEU Manila. Mr. Barcela has extensive teaching experience at FEU Diliman, where he serves as an Assistant Professor, teaching subjects including Good Governance, International Finance, Strategic Management, and Corporate Social Responsibility. He is also recognized for his role as Canvas Support for the BSBA program. Before his academic career, he built a solid background in government revenue collection, rising through the ranks at the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) with responsibilities in arrears monitoring, tax collection, and case analysis. He also has experience in the banking sector as a Branch Teller with China Banking Corporation.
