Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping higher education by streamlining tasks, supporting personalized learning, and enhancing student engagement. Yet, these benefits coexist with risks of dependence, reduced critical thinking, and inequities-a duality termed the relief paradox. This study examined the perceptions of 138 IT students at FEU Institute of Technology to explore how they experience both the relief and paradoxical burdens of AI in education, with attention to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) on inclusive and equitable quality education. Using a descriptiveanalytic design, validated survey instruments, and both descriptive and inferential statistics, results showed that students generally recognized AI's potential to reduce workload and improve inclusivity, while also expressing concern over ethical issues and overdependence. The study underscores the need for balanced integration of AI in education, offering recommendations for curriculum, policy, and capacity-building to ensure responsible adoption.

Abstract
Navigating to find attractions can be challenging for tourists due to the lack of navigation websites that pinpoint any tourist attractions within Metro Manila. The lack of navigation websites may lead to fewer tourists visiting the place and hinder tourism in the area. To resolve this issue, the researchers developed ‘SpotN’Go: An interactive web-based platform promoting the best places to visit in the city of Manila.' This website promotes various attractions including historical sites, old churches, and parks where visitors can enjoy their visit. By blending educational content with an entertaining format, the platform helps users understand the history and appreciate the beauty of the places they visit. The study uses an Input-Process-Output (IPO) design. Users (input) provide information and feedback throughout development. This information is used to improve the web platform (process), which showcases Manila's attractions. The enhanced platform is then beta tested (output) to identify and fix errors before the final launch. A survey assessed the system's quality using the FURPS model (Functionality, Usability, Reliability, Performance, Supportability). Public users (tourists) rated it ‘Strongly Agree’ overall, while IT administrators rated it ‘Agree’ across all aspects (average score: 4.06). This suggests the system meets its goals for both user groups. The study concludes that SpotN'Go successfully achieved its goals by creating a web platform that showcases Manila attractions through information, videos, photos, and maps. The researchers recommend further development to promote various tourist spots that will have a positive impact on Philippine tourism and tourist attractions.

Abstract
The decision to select a college degree program plays a fundamental role in shaping students' academic and professional futures. While much research has examined the factors affecting students' choices prior to enrollment, fewer studies have explored their perceptions and expectations after they have entered their chosen programs. This study seeks to bridge this research gap by investigating the visions and aspirations of freshmen using natural language processing techniques. The textual analysis involves text tokenization, word frequency counts, visual representation of data through word clouds, and sentiment classification. The findings suggest the demand for tailored academic support and curriculum development that align with the specific aspirations of students in different disciplines. Overall, this study contributes to the growing literature on student decision-making and expectations of degree programs, while demonstrating the value of sentiment analysis as a tool for understanding students' academic trajectories.

Abstract
This project was pushed through to engage people towards proper waste collection, through the utilization of mobile devices of the communities in different municipalities. The study aims to develop and implement a sustainable and efficient waste management collection system by informing the residents of the garbage truck collection schedule available on their mobile devices. Additionally, the platform utilizes optimization and decision support algorithms, including queuing algorithms, to receive and review complaints efficiently. The researcher employed an incremental software development methodology, allowing the software to be developed and tested even when requirements are still evolving. The study is descriptive-correlational, as it involves evaluating the developed system based on feedback from expert respondents. The evaluation yielded an overall mean performance score of 4.75, interpreted as “Strongly Agree,” indicating that the system is well-prepared for deployment.

Abstract
This study explores the beneficial uses of Microsoft Copilot as a support tool for Baliwag Polytechnic College instructors' lesson planning and activity design. Researchers evaluate the influence of Copilot on the creation of instructional content by examining the experiences and opinions of educators. The study demonstrates the advantages, difficulties, and opportunities for customization that come with incorporating Copilot into the curriculum. The results indicate that Copilot can significantly improve the effectiveness and caliber of lesson design, but also highlight certain implementation issues. This research offers insights into the future of technology-enhanced education and contributes to the expanding body of research on AI-assisted teaching strategies.

Abstract
The adoption of innovative technologies is critical for improving teaching practices and student learning outcomes. Among these, artificial intelligence (AI) is emerging as a transformative tool capable of reshaping traditional educational paradigms. ChatGPT, a sophisticated language model developed by OpenAI, offers numerous opportunities for educators to enhance pedagogical effectiveness and streamline lesson preparation processes. This study explores the efficacy of ChatGPT in lesson preparation by surveying and interviewing teachers at Dr. Josefa Jara Martinez High School in the Philippines. It aims to understand their attitudes towards and experiences with integrating ChatGPT into their teaching practices. Despite the promising potential of AI in education, the adoption of such technologies in the Philippines faces significant barriers, including limited awareness, access issues, and concerns about technology integration. The findings reveal that while teachers recognize the benefits of using ChatGPT, such as improved efficiency and personalized instruction, challenges like lack of training and ethical concerns remain prevalent. The study underscores the need for comprehensive professional development programs and robust ethical guidelines to support the effective and responsible use of AI tools in education. The results show that teachers have a wide range of opinions, but many of them agree that ChatGPT has the potential to make lesson planning easier, offer individualized learning resources, and keep students interested in class. On the other hand, issues with consistency with curriculum requirements, dependability, and general efficacy were also apparent. The study sheds light on the challenges associated with integrating AI into education and makes recommendations for professional development, focused assistance, and ethical considerations to help high schools adopt AI technologies responsibly. Teachers can optimize learning experiences, improve teaching effectiveness, and give students the tools they need to succeed in the digital age by tackling these issues and utilizing AI's transformative potential.

Abstract
The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) serves as a foundational framework for assessing user acceptance of emerging technologies, particularly in organizational settings. In education, digital governance has become a transformative tool for enhancing operations within State Universities and Colleges (SUCs). However, many SUCs face challenges due to their reliance on commercial applications that lack the capacity for comprehensive and accurate reporting. To address this issue, the researcher developed an enterprise-level information system tailored to integrate research, teaching, and extension functions for SUCs in the Philippines. Utilizing the Agile Development Model, which emphasizes iterative progress through continuous improvement, the study employed a descriptive developmental approach to system creation and evaluation. The TAM criteria guided the evaluation process, resulting in an overall weighted mean of 3.55, interpreted as “Acceptable.” While the system has been positively received, the findings highlight the need for further refinement to optimize its effectiveness. Despite this, the system is strongly recommended for deployment in SUCs, as it offers a comprehensive, customizable solution for enhancing digital governance in higher education. This study underscores the importance of applying frameworks such as TAM to evaluate and refine technological innovations, ensuring their alignment with organizational needs and their contribution to improving digital governance within SUCs.

Abstract
The surge in the digital arts industry has brought forth critical challenges related to intellectual property (IP) and copyright protection. This paper introduces “Stella Vee,” an innovative isometric action-adventure video game developed to illuminate these pressing issues. Stella Vee immerses players in scenarios that mirror the trials faced by artists grappling with intricate IP dilemmas. This project not only presents Stella Vee but also extracts instrumental theoretical, practical, and technical insights cultivated from its evaluation. First, theoretical insights delve into player engagement and the role of visual aesthetics in gaming. Then, practical recommendations guide game developers in enhancing visual design as well as refining user interface (UI) and control mechanisms. Finally, on a technical level, implications extend to UI development and input method refinement. Within the confines of this game project, we aim to provide insights into the development of captivating, instructive, and user-centric video games poised to confront the paramount challenges surrounding IP and copyright preservation in our burgeoning digital epoch.

Abstract
In this study, we developed a PC-based video game that aims to promote awareness of Persistent Depressive Disorder (PDD), also known as dysthymia. Anchored to the survival horror subgenre and a hack and slash gameplay, we constructed "Escape from Oblivion" as a single-player platformer game that highlights eerie game world environments and scenarios indicative of mental health conditions. It exhibits different mental states under terrible circumstances, forcing players to see and feel what it is almost like when suffering from a mental health condition like PDD. With the necessary expertise on PDD and mental health, we consulted with an expert to co-design the video game. We also evaluated the game prototype with players in terms of game characteristics. The initial version of our game received acceptable scores during the virtual open house event. Although there are several enhancements to be incorporated, our video game Escape from Oblivion demonstrates potential in being a promotional tool for mental health awareness.

Abstract
Emergency response is a crucial method for saving lives because the Philippines is one of the nation that is most vulnerable to disasters. Unexpected disasters happen all the time. The survival of those who were immediately impacted by a disaster depends on what happens in the initial hours after the accident. Even a minute difference in emergency response time has the potential to save or cost lives. Through this, the researchers were able to implement Dijkstra’s method to show the shortest paths in an application for emergency response. The ideas are organized in a way that suggests potential paths that first responders could take to locate victims. This article outlines a step-by-step process for choosing the optimum approach. Agile methodology was employed by the researchers when creating the application. The respondents gave the system a 4.52 out of 5 rating on the basis of the ISO 9126 evaluation tool, with a ‘Very Acceptable’ interpretation result. Thus, the system is now prepared for deployment.
