Abstract: This study promotes sustainable agriculture through automation and precision technology to enhance food security and environmental sustainability. It aims to reduce fertilizer and pesticide consumption, minimize ecological impact, and improve crop productivity. An automated rover system was developed to detect and address soil and plant health issues in Solanum lycopersicum (tomato plants). The system integrates four specialized rovers which are soil mapping, fertilizer dispensing, pesticide dispensing, and water dispensing. Each rover is designed to optimize farming efficiency and maintain consistent plant health. The soil mapping rover, equipped with sensors for soil moisture, pH levels, and image capture, transmits data to a central server that coordinates the other rovers. This promotes efficient resource management and responsible agricultural practices, supporting reduced chemical use and healthier soil conditions. Reliability testing using percentage error analysis indicated up to 90% accuracy in NPK and pH sensor readings. The rovers utilize ESP32 microcontrollers programmed in Python, enabling real-time wireless communication. Overall, this research demonstrates how technological innovation and precision farming can advance productivity while safeguarding natural resources for sustainable crop production.
