About this event
Thrive & Rise: Nurturing Self-Care and Resilience in the Student Journey is a student-centered seminar organized by the FEU Diliman Psychology Program that aims to provide psychology students with a safe, reflective, and empowering space as they navigate the academic and personal demands of university life. The activity emphasizes self-care as an essential psychological skill rather than a luxury, particularly in a discipline that requires emotional awareness, empathy, and mental resilience. To be held on February 4, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the BED Library, Main Building, the seminar will be facilitated by psychology faculty, with Ms. Marjorie Z. Poticano, as the speaker. The session will integrate psychological concepts with real student experiences, offering practical and evidence-based insights on stress management, emotional regulation, and resilience, while also fostering a sense of community and support among Psychology majors of FEU Diliman, encouraging them not just to cope with challenges but to grow and rise with balance and purpose.
