About this event
The Basic Research Ethics Training (BRET) is PHREB's foundational training program for researchers, faculty members, and ethics committee members. The program covers the fundamental principles of research ethics, national ethical guidelines, informed consent, risk-benefit assessment, privacy and confidentiality, and the responsibilities of research ethics reviewers. Completion of the training leads to BRET certification, which is a prerequisite for advanced PHREB ethics training and supports the development of qualified reviewers for the Institution's Institutional Research Ethics Committee (IREC).
