Re-Purpose: Waste Segragation at Bayanan
This project integrates environmental education with interactive engagement by transforming recyclable materials.
About this event
This project integrates environmental education with interactive engagement by transforming recyclable materials such as plastic bottles, tin cans, cartons, and used slippers into tools for traditional Filipino games like Tumbang Preso and Patintero. It includes an initial assessment of children’s knowledge and practices on waste segregation, followed by guided collection, safe preparation, and utilization of recyclable materials in structured play activities. To gauge learning results and behavioral shifts, environmental orientations and post-activity evaluations will also be carried out.
