"iTamMakakalikasan: Our Nature, Our Treasure," a strategic initiative designed to provide immediate care to our natural heritage through a collaborative Conservation Seminar that facilitates critical discussions on biodiversity conservation and the sustainable use of natural resources.
This program explicitly aligns with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, reinforcing the institutional goal of cultivating holistic, ethically grounded graduates: SDG 13 (Climate Action): To address and implement urgent efforts to strengthen resilience against climate-related hazards; SDG 14 (Life Below Water) Highlights the interconnectedness of terrestrial waste management and the health of aquatic species housed in urban sanctuaries; SDG 15 (Life on Land): Directly counters biodiversity loss through active reforestation and animal welfare support; and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals): Cultivates a sustainable network between academia and environmental organizations.
