About this event
The Extemporaneous Speech Competition challenges participants to think critically and speak spontaneously on various topics. Contestants are given limited preparation time to deliver a well-organized, persuasive, and coherent speech that showcases their knowledge, composure, and communication skills. This competition highlights the power of quick thinking and eloquent expression under pressure.
Objectives:
1. To develop the students’ ability to speak spontaneously on tooics related to healing, resilience and social consciousness
2. To challenge students to think critically, and deliver impactful speech under time constraints
3. To raise awareness about the role of communication in addressing emotional wounds, social injustices and personal struggles
