DAY 2: CyberXplore: Xplore, Xecute, Xcel
Promote digital responsibility in FEU through hands-on learning, awareness, and collaboration in cybersecurity and data privacy.
About this event
The activity will be conducted through a two-day celebration. The first day will feature seminar sessions led by industry experts, focusing on cybersecurity laws, data privacy, and emerging threats in the Philippine context. Real-world case studies will be presented to deepen awareness of current challenges and best practices in digital security.
The second day will center on interactive competitions such as Ethernet Cabling, Packet Tracer, Linux Essentials, and Capture the Flag. These hands-on activities will allow students to apply cybersecurity concepts, develop problem-solving skills, and experience real-world scenarios in a collaborative and competitive setting.
Open to All:
- Linux Essentials – Students test their Linux knowledge and real-world practice with the command line and virtual machines.
- Ethernet Cabling Competition – Hands-on challenge in ethernet cabling and setup.
- Packet Tracer Challenge – Simple network design and troubleshooting activity.
- Capture the Flag - Practical cybersecurity problem-solving training and competition.
