ArtFelt is a two-medium art competition held during TechnoWeek that aims to highlight the creativity of the students through a competition.
About this event
ArtFelt is a traditional and digital art competition held on February in celebration of Art Month. Additionally, it will be held as an event during the Technoweek celebration. This event provides a creative space for artists to express their skills, ideas, and emotions through both traditional and digital art mediums.
Participants will be provided with a canvas and will have the freedom to bring and use their own art materials that best suit their personal art style, such as paints, pencils, charcoal, or other traditional tools, while also providing participants with the option to use digital mediums such as a drawing tablet. To spark creativity while allowing artistic interpretation, a theme or prompt will be given at the start of the competition to guide participants in creating their artwork.
ArtFelt aims to celebrate creativity, originality, and artistic expression, bringing together artists to showcase their talent while honoring the importance of art and culture.
Participants may choose one of two categories to compete in, namely traditional and digital. Artworks will be judged based on a rubric after the drawing portion of the event, and winners will be awarded after the judging period.
