About this event

ACM New Ground is the kickoff General Assembly for the academic year built around the theme “Define the Next.” Up to 150 attendees will be randomly split into ten teams. Each round features a focused briefing followed by an accessible challenge rewarding collaboration, judgment, and communication. Scores across the four 100-point rounds are tracked on a live scoreboard, with Round 4 performance serving as the primary tie-breaker.

New Ground will introduce ACM’s direction and programs, portfolio and skills development, and idea concept pitching. Organization officers will present ACM plans, while speakers and facilitators guide sessions.
