ACM Gradient FORGE: Shaping the First Metal is the inaugural event of the ACM Gradient FORGE series. It is a 4-hour, inclusive, data science workshop designed to take students from zero coding knowledge to producing their first data investigation report. Instead of traditional lectures or seminars, this event uses a student-led code-along workshop paradigm. Participants will act as “Data Detectives,” using Python to solve a mystery within a dataset while actively manipulating it.
