ACM Ctrl + Prompt: Essentials of AI Prompting is the second activity of a three-part workshop series dedicated to equipping Virlanie employees and volunteers with practical skills in using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in for their daily tasks.. This session introduces participants to the foundations of prompt engineering, explaining how AI responds to instructions and how well-written prompts can effectively generate output.
The workshop also breaks down the elements of an effective prompt, ensuring the participants will generate accurate outputs from the AI tools used. After learning the foundational concepts of prompting, the beneficiaries will participate in a guided practice following a live demo of basic prompting techniques helping the participants how to phrase tasks clearly, refine AI responses, and use prompts to produce useful results.
To conclude, the participants will engage in a gamified activity where they will compete for the best generated output applying the prompt engineering skills from the lectures.
