About this event
Allies are important players in the LGBTQIA+ community’s call for their rights, and some don't even realize it.
Have you ever stood up for someone who was being bullied, even when you weren't bullied yourself?
Have you ever protected someone from being badmouthed in your GC, even when they didn't know?
That's support. That's validation. That's being an ally. And above all else, those are easy, simple actions.
This talk aims to highlight the importance of allies to the LGBTQIA+ community, and how collaborative efforts and practical actions can help iTamaraws be the best allies there ever was.
This talk also aims to highlight how being an ally can help make FEU Tech a safe space for all iTamaraws - for him, her, and them.
